These spiritual evaluations were designed by God as tools for earnest engagement with Him to uncover areas in our spiritual lives that are in need of growth towards Christlikeness. These are NOT religious evaluations or performance-driven self-inspections.

 

These evaluations are useful for revealing blind spots and aligning us with the plumbline of Christ. When approached with ruthless honesty, willingness to admit to ourselves and to God where we are falling short of Christ's perfection, and openness to allow the Holy Spirit to change our hearts, we allow God to set us free from unfavorable habits and gives us power to change.
